Welcome to K9 Confidence!

Kelly's K9 Family

DeJay - AKA Deter, Deej, "D"

DeJay came to GSRBC from the SPCA in 2004. Narrowly escaping euthanasia after putting a few stitches into a staff member. This boy is one of the most misunderstood dogs I have ever met. He not only has a heart of gold, but is very even tempered and trustworthy.

Lucky for me, DeJay made his way into my life, and now you'll rarely see me without him. He is always at my side. My ever present shot gun rider, protector and faithful friend.

We've been through a lot together, and he has helped me greatly over the years, both with other dogs and with my own training.

DeJay is currently working in protection and is very much enjoying this work. I am incredibly proud of my special boy!

Loki - AKA Smokey Loki

Loki is a stunning black and red German Shepherd who came to GSRBC from the Coquitlam Animal Shelter.

Loki was a tiny little force to be reckoned with, even at 12 weeks old! He was ready and willing to take on anyone in his path and could clear a whole room of people with his little antics. It was clear what kind of dog Loki would be if he happened into the wrong hands.

Kelly and Loki attended CWCC together, and became certified as a professional obedience trainer. Loki loves to train, is eager to please and is the welcoming committee to all new fosters that grace our doors.

Today, you'll see Loki around a lot in our obedience classes doing demos. He has mastered advanced training and is often in class showing students what their dogs can accomplish too!

Loki has been a pleasure to live with and rewards us every day just by being the great big (and we do mean big!) goof that he is. There is never a dull moment with Loki around, and we are so very proud of all he has accomplished!
